  • When disassembled, this handle is the length of a tennis racket and will fit in most suitcases and half-sized lockers

Note that the head is sold separately and is included in photos for demonstration purposes only. If you are adding a head to your order, don't forget to include an appropriate brush pad as well.  If you need help customizing your handle and head combination, please give us a call!

Dimensions of the two parts when separated for travel are 26 1/4 inches for the top section and 24 7/8 inches for the bottom section.

I reached out to Dakota Curling Supply because I had sone questions about the Activ Portable Broom handle. Dakota responded right away and sent multiple emails about the status of my purchase. Would definitely buy from them again. Haven’t had a chance to use the broom handle but it looks good and know others who have purchased and like it. Certainly beats dragging a broom bag through Europe and the Airport

Great for travel or regular play

Ideal for travel but I've been using it for regularly at my local club, too. I am new to curling and had a basic (heavy) broom handle before, so this is a real upgrade!

Activ Touring Portable Curling Broom Handle

I really like this two-piece broom-handle for traveling to bonspiels; not having to check and retrieve an oversized item at the airport simplifies and speeds travel. And it eases getting to and from the curling rink and hotel.
I wish only that the two halves were of equal length when taken apart, as the longer half just barely fits in my checked-bag; two equivalent pieces would pack more efficiently.
