Momentum shoes feature a velcro based slider and gripper system, and each pair of Momentum shoes includes a set of gripper discs.

Gripper disc sets are available for purchase in case you would like a second set or need a replacement. Second sets may be useful if you ever need to configure your shoes as double grippers, which are great when making ice or coaching. Some people use a second heel gripper piece if they slide in a tuck position and want a gripper to act as a brake when they lower their foot.

Sizes cover both full and half sizes. For example, a size 7/8 would fit four sizes of shoes: 7, 7.5, 8 and 8.5.
