Step-on sliders do not attach to the shoe and can be used on either foot. The step-on slider comes in a 1/16" Teflon option only. This slider is good for beginner or novice curlers. Slow and sticky. When they arrived, the top side would sometimes stick to grippers forcing curlers to have to peal it off the gripper. They are both somewhat slower than other grippers we have purchased even in the same style. One of them in particular seemed to kind of pull your foot to the side for the first week or so of use.
